Student - Parent Handbook
Parent-Teacher
Fellowship and Conferences
Valuable help will be given at Parent-Teacher Fellowship Meetings. Parents
need to call the school office to set up specific times for conferences.
Scheduling usually begins about two weeks prior to the conference. The
dates for these meetings will be listed on the school calendar. Policies
vital to the consistent training of your child will be discussed. The
nature of the meeting will vary, but the general objectives are as
follows:
 |
1. To acquaint the parent with the philosophy of
Christian education and the curriculum of the school |
 |
2. To acquaint both parents and teachers with the
importance of recognizing and adequately coping with emotional,
spiritual, and disciplinary needs of the child |
 |
3. To provide an opportunity for parents and teachers
to know and fellowship with each other |
 |
4. To provide the parents with an opportunity to see
the achievements of the students and to see various students and
classes perform in a planned program |
