Fine Arts

At High Point Baptist Academy, we seek to provide a well-rounded Christian education. This means making opportunities available that will expand a  student's horizons and open his or her eyes to the world.

Our fine arts program includes the opportunity to be involved in various musical groups. Graded music classes are found throughout the Academy. In addition to our choirs in elementary, junior high, and high school, we have a select high school ensemble. 

Elementary band, secondary band, and hand bell choirs give students the ability to develop as instrumentalists.  Our senior high hand bell team took first place in the American Association of Christian Schools National Competition in 2003, 2004, and 2005.

Private piano, vocal, and instrumental lessons are also offered.

Students compete annually in all musical areas on local, state, and national levels.

Concerning drama, students also have the opportunity to participate on stage or behind the scenes in a major play production each year.
