Academics

High Point Baptist Academy is first and foremost an educational institution which seeks to develop Christ likeness in the lives of our students.

The merits of our strong academic program:
High Point students consistently score significantly higher than the national average on achievement tests and college entrance exams.  The Academy offers Advanced Placement courses in English, Spanish, and Calculus.

High Point students excel and achieve recognition in national competitions in the areas of vocal and instrumental music, political science, writing, advanced Spanish language, drama, art, academics, and overall merit.

High Point students have been elected to the American Christian Honor Society and commended in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Today, High Point graduates, now numbering over 750, can be found in all facets of work including the pastorate, missions, medicine, dentistry, construction, city and state government, education, and numerous other fields.
